State of Membership
2022 Survey Results
The results from our State of Membership Survey are in! Association professionals at all levels of organizations and from a cross-section of disciplines and program areas contributed to the findings. Revenue is increasing for the associations of more than half of our survey participants despite the swath of challenges these organizations face such as changing membership demographics, disengaged members, and industry and economic concerns. The role of events and conferences as a source of non-dues revenue continues to be vital for many associations, and the need for digital transformation has been great as associations take on more initiatives and look to address industry needs. These and other results from the survey are rich with data and insights.
